Meet Kay

Kay Neseem is the Founder of Kay Kare. Kay holds a BSc from The Ohio State University and an MBA in Health Care from George Washington University. Kay is an 18-year veteran in Occupational Therapy practice with a passion for the patient.

“I saw patients with both arms paralyzed needing a brace that secured and protected both arms… I searched and searched … and could not find one.”

“[Caregivers] get exhausted…mentally and physically drained providing care for their loved ones. It’s [just one] added struggle in their day to help fit a limp/ weak or painful arm of their loved one into a brace… I asked myself… is there a way I can simplify their lives?”

“Most arm braces have a strap going over the neck. [You could see] the patients’ necks pulled forward by the strap of their arm braces… It would hurt me to see them hurt.”

“I knew there had to be easy solutions to these issues, and [felt compelled to] do something about it… so I designed arm braces that [either] minimized or eliminated these problems, yet provided the support and comfort patients needed.”
